High Purity Alumina used for lithium battery separator coating is an inorganic substance with high thermal stability and chemical inertness. It is a good choice for battery separator ceramic coating. It has the properties of insulation, heat insulation and high temperature resistance; as the capacity of lithium-ion rechargeable batteries continues to increase, the internal energy accumulation becomes greater and greater, and the internal temperature will increase. It may occur that the temperature is too high and the negative electrode separator will be melted and cause a short circuit. Because high-purity alumina has the characteristics of insulation, heat insulation and high temperature resistance, it can be used in the coating of lithium batteries, which can avoid short circuits between electrodes and improve the safety of lithium batteries.
